You're talking about one of the earlier UK DVDs right? Because I heard that one was sourced from the VHS master that was uncut but cropped instead of opened up to 1.33, whereas the UK WS DVD was taken from a cut TV master. I find it odd that ...

Is it open matte or pan and scam? I was told that 70% of the film was shot anamorphic while 30% was shot in academy and matted down to 1.85:1. Also, is the new 3D BD of the film a new transfer or the same old waxy DNR'd one from a few years back?
