Re: Henry’s Crime (duplicate entries)

I did similar, by removing the apostrophe "Henrys Crime" but nothing still showed at the time.
The system is not "smart enough" to recognize words with or without apostrophe as the same. Always truncate words to the part before or after a special character, instead of doing smart "reasonable ...

Re: Blu-ray - Germany - Silent Night, Bloody Night AKA Death

Is Sinister confirmed as a bootleg company?
No, Sinister Films releases were hidden by me pending an investigation. Apologies for not communicating that. I did not change any notes, since I was waiting for confirmation.

Currently, all I have gotten is a "might be" / "looks like, but cannot say ...

Re: Suevia bootlegs

I've updated the company/distributor search on the site, so that doesn't display/count removed entries any more, as that would have a lot of false positives. I believe all are gone.

Re: Suevia bootlegs

Before this thread gets archived, is it possible to at least remove the footnote mentions of other Suevia releases from these listings? that in itself would leave only a handful of actual listings on the site.

Re: Godfather I original aspect ratio: Godfather III Coda

Was it originally released in theatres in academy ratio (4:3)?
The Godfather I was released theatrically at widescreen ratio 1.85:1. If you are a purist of how it was shown theatrically, then that's the ratio to go with.

The DVDs BDs are all 1.78:1 or 1.85:1.
The movie was originally shot by ...

Re: I'd like to know how it is going on...

I guess, I can do a Q&A.

Who does dvdcompare.net belong to?

That would basically be me. Hi, I am Ulrich Christensen and I've been the maintainer/developer of the site since 2015.
Sam was a long-time friend from another site (DVDSpot) we both contributed to, and it was him who brought me in. I ...

Re: Diary of the Dead (2007)

This is more of a question more than a correction.

In the Overall section for Diary of the Dead (2007) , it says the following:

Note that both releases have the 'For the Record' documentary, though the UK release has it up.

What on Earth does "the UK release has it up" mean? I see no mention ...

Re: BELL OF HELL Dvd BOOTLEG

There is currently a hard stance policy in place that we do not knowingly add bootlegs to the database.

Any bootlegs discovered to already be in the database will be removed/hidden from view, as status is determined.
Due to time constraints of our editors, we cannot process bulk reports, so any ...

Very very surprised (pleasantly) to discover this on youtube:

As a spoof, it seems much better than the older Casino Royale.
A couple of actors from Thunderball!
Any info on this?
Nothing much on the internet.
