I heard from someone who used to work at Tartan and someone who used to work at Rapid Eye that Tartan would be late on licensing fees or not pay at all possibly, and therefore leading to their decline and buyout.

Interesting. This sort of stuff - and worse - happens all the time. The only part that still surprises me is it often seems the smaller the amount of money to be gained, the greedier some people get. I mean, if you're willing to sell your soul to get ahead, why let it go so cheap?

Still a pity though; I really liked Tartan. If anyone ever wants to expand on what James has said, feel free!

Yes. Before they stepped up their work and became legitimate.
