The Storm [De Storm] (TV)
Dutch flooding movie, a bit different from what we usually see, and really touching, I liked it - 7/10.

Guest House Paradiso (UK DVD) - Nowhere near as funny as Bottom, but some notable cameos. 4/10

Mallrats (UK DVD) - I'm a Kevin Smith fanboy. 8/10

Trance (French Blu)
Danny Boyle is really a virtuoso (even if I find Slumdog to be much overrated), able to succeed in many genres. This "twisted" labyrinth-movie is no exception - 8/10

Magical girls japanimation... I'm too old for really enjoying this, but easily above average - 6/10.

my fave is ALIENS
and shame the extended cut of ALIEN 3 has a few audio probs - you can't hear actors speaking at times unlike on the theatrical version :(

Nanoha Magical Girl Movie #2 (Japanese Blu-ray, friend's disc)
Following of the previous magical girls japanimation movie... again I'm too old for really enjoying this, but I must admit that if you like that genre, it can't probably get any better. The first movie already ran 2h10mn, but this one is even longer at 2h30mn - 7/10.

Alex Cross (TV)
Average action/thriller flick - 5/10

Rewatched Django Unchained, haven't seen it since it was in theaters and finally checked out my Blu-ray copy, love this movie, Tarantino's best and such an entertaining ride.
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Yeah, a very racist flick. Sometimes you don't understand whether he's serious or not.

Just some rewatches...

Clerks - My favourite Smith film. 10/10

Clerks 2 - Cracking follow-up, and Dawson was a great addition to the cast. 8/10

Pitch Perfect - Okay, it's beyond stupid, but it's cheesy fun. 7/10

Young Black Stallion - Disney fare made for IMAX, and shot in a style over substance manner for that very reason. 5/10

The Lebanese Rocket Society - Interesting documentary that looks at how a group of scientists and students from Beirut University began building and firing rockets in the early 60s. 7/10
