Hello all
Summer, but I still have to watch movies
I have seen Re-Animator lots of times. I love that movie. The last time I saw it was on DVD several years ago.
My thought then, the quality was so good it spoiled some of the effects. After that, another version came out on DVD. Even better picture quality I suppose.
One of those was a Millennium version I think.
I have invested lot's of money on picture/sound, but back then I was almost thinking; maybe it is better to see this movie in a version with lower picture quality?
Well.
Today I ordered it on blu-ray. Curious - what will I think when I see it with even better picture quality?
Here is the version I ordered; http://www.amazon.co.uk/Re-Animator-Lim ... e-animator
Cheap!
The first thing I do every time I buy a movie is to check the brilliant dvdcompare site
So (finally), my question(s).
Here it says that the German version have 3 versions of the film; http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/f ... ?fid=20904
Can that be a mistake?
Blu-ray ALL Germany - Capelight
3-Disc Limited Collector's Edition
DISC ONE (Blu-ray): *The film (unrated version)
DISC TWO (Blu-ray): * The Film (Integral version)
DISC THREE (DVD): * The Film (Unrated version)
Last. Here it says that the longest uncut version is 85:54 mins; http://bbfc.co.uk/releases/re-animator- ... latedWorks
Dvdcompare says both versions is uncut.... Maybe the bbfc site isn't up to date?
Thanx.
And, thanx for a brilliant site
