For all of the above pages, in the GENERAL NOTES section, the opening phrase does not make grammatical sense:
"The modern day portions of the film was photographed were shot in anamorphic 35mm..."
By the way, although I cannot be sure, I think the reason the Siddharta scenes were shot in 65mm was because some of the shots were subsequently digitally scanned to enable visual effects work. These effects were quite complicated, including morphing and simulated reflections, and they probably wanted to maximise the resolution to facilitate good results. At the time, I was working for CFC who did this effects work, although it was over 30 years ago, so my memories are somewhat vague, plus I was quite a junior member of staff at the time, so I wasn't privy to all of the technical decision making.
