With the Japanese edition, some questions:
What are the runtimes of the extras?

Also, the European blu-ray includes Japanese subtitles, yet the Japanese edition omits all other language subtitles?
By research, it also seems the Japanese blu-ray is about 30 seconds shorter than the Euro Universal release.
Does the Japanese release have an opening Universal logo at the start?
Does the Japanese release have the bathtub scene where penises are clearly visible?

There is a Universal logo at the start, but (from my BD file digging) its a separate video stream rather than being attached to the main movie file. I don't know if the other Uni BDs start out this way too.

Also, while the other BDs have Japanese subs, they DO NOT (from what I've seen) contain the Jap audio dubbing, unless its like the Fox BD of Conan The barbarian where the player has to be se to Japanese to get the audio.

It has the bathtub scene, but I don't see any genitals. From what I saw, the shot looks very tight though; tighter than the Criterion. Maybe nowadays the're doing reframing rather than blurring things out to make censorship less obvious.

Thanks for confirming. It seems there is some censoring on the Japanese release then.
With my research though I can't find any info about the Japanese dub of this. None of the previous DVDs had a Japanese dub, and Universal's site only lists the English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track, so I wonder why it isn't being advertised as being on here.

OK, so I got my hands on a copy of the Universal Japanese blu-ray. Gotta call you out on this one:

It is EXACTLY the same as the European Universal releases. It has the European dubs and subs and no Japanese audio track.
The runtime is 120:11, matching the European blu-ray, and it is uncensored. Penises are fully visible in the bathtub sequence.
Also the extras runtimes are different as the ones you posted above.
There are no hidden options (Universal doesn't hide its audio and subtitles like Warner or Fox does). I will be adding the Criterion DVD as you posted above, but I will not be adding the blu-ray above unless you have proof there is somehow another Japanese copy pressed, which I can find no information on.
