The "Comparison Request" Forum Rules

Post by Adrian_Busby »

Before you do anything, please consider this: The Rewind Team do ALL the work involved in running the database and these forums as a hobby. Whilst we greatly appreciate your assistance, please don't swamp us with posts as it is demotivating for us to get behind and frustrating for you when we have to close the forums to catch up. Thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation.

Rewind @ http://www.dvdcompare.net is home of DVD Region Comparisons.

There are thousands of DVDs with multi-region comparisons at Rewind. However, if your particular film has not been compared then you can request it in this forum.

The Rewind Team Members will read your request and add it to the database as soon as possible. Please do NOT e-mail or private message the Rewind Team directly for comparison requests.

Also, we would ask that you avoid making requests for entire TV series (e.g. multiple seasons) or film collections (e.g. the entire Friday The 13th series). Whilst we are happy to look at your requests, please remember that we all do this work IN OUR SPARE TIME and it's very disheartening for us when we have to neglect other requests because we are spending all of our time working on a single 'large' request.

If you are keen to purchase an entire collection, please be good enough to request the films ONE at a time. Let others have their requests fulfilled and then ask for a couple more.

As soon as the comparison has been added, they will notify you via the forums, although you should note that this forum is 'tidied' on a regular basis. If you return and your post has been deleted, you should assume that the comparison has been added.

If the thread has been here for more than two months and no reviews are still to be found, the request shall be moved to DVD Discussion. This is to avoid clogging up the forum.

Simple rules for requesting comparisons:
- Have a maximum of ONE request open at a time.
- Please let the subject contain the title of the DVD you are requesting
- Check the database before requesting a comparison
- Don't request titles more than 2 weeks away from release

Thank you!

Just a reminder to limit your requests to one at a time please.

Those of you who have more than one current request, please select which one you're more interested in having compared.

If members aren't able to keep to this simple rule, we will simply delete threads regardless.
