I’m lagging long behind...

From dvdoo.dk, actually yesterday:

  • 1453. Saw VI Unrated (Scandinavian Blu-ray), € 6.71
  • 1454. Better Living Through Chemistry (Scandinavian Blu-ray), € 9.40
  • 1455. Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (Scandinavian 3D Blu-ray), € 13.42

Hvad blev der af Hans og Grete? :)

Ha. Strange how titles are changed so often, even when using English titles. Some companies change the titles in the UK all the bloody time (Signature Entertainment being one).

This was a lot of fun though, and the 3D is really great. I borrowed it from someone a while ago, and will pick it up when I see it cheap. Cheesy as hell though. A second is coming in 2016, hopefully with the same cast and not some cash-in. :)

Yeah. In Finland we sometimes get “mixed” titles, where a tagline appears in Finnish after the original title, like Take Shelter — Kaukana kavala maailma. They look goofy.
This was a lot of fun though, and the 3D is really great.
It’s a pity the Unrated version (10 minutes longer) isn’t available in 3D.

I first saw Jeremy Renner in Dahmer and thought: what a great actor, but nobody will hire him after a role like that! Luckily I was wrong.

Still some two weeks before the plumbing renovation is finished and I can get back home to enjoy my home theatre and €30,000 bathroom.

I do.
- A lot of titles aren't available on Blu.
- Sometimes I buy a DVD for the extras (not included on the Blu), and then wait for the Blu to drop in price.
- Sometimes I'll pick up the DVD if I see it very cheap used, so I can see if it is a film I'll like.
- Sometimes I'll buy a DVD if it is a company whose releases I 'collect'.
