Rob Roy Japanese dvd re-issue audio difference ?.

I have a Japanese re-issue of MGMs ROB ROY (1995).I noticed that this re-issue from around 2010 (when Fox was distributing their back catalogue)only carries 2.0 Dolby Digital audio in Japanese & English while all the other versions on the database are 5.1 DD.Is this due to it being a later re-issue ?.My re-issue of Executive Decision which I checked today is still 5.1 DD.The bonus is that at least like the US dvd it's the full uncut version .I will add it when my other comparisons are done,but I assume the original Japanese release from MGM was in 5.1 ?.
