Are these confirmed as legitimate?

Yes.
The Divisa and Epcot DVDs license a restored transfer that is largely cropped to 1.78:1, except for the end credits, which are in the OAR. The DVDs are also anamorphic and purportedly have the best quality and accurate colors.
The back cover of the Beyond DVD states the transfer to be 4:3, but that information may be wrong and it could be anamorphic as well.
