Only minor language differences. Note the French release has a featurette though it is not particularly for "The Painted Desert" and the subtitles are not removable.
GENERAL NOTES:
The original pre-code release ran 83 minutes while the reissue version was reduced to 75 minutes (footage from the 1931 version was also removed from the negative for reuse in the 1938 remake). -
