GENERAL NOTES:
Two versions of this film exist:
- the original 1979 theatrical version (~93 minutes);
- the 2005 director's cut which adds an opening narration comparing the story to a tale of Ancient Greek warriors surrounded on all sides by enemies trying to get to safety. This is accompanied by drawn comic book panels which are also used in the film proper as scene transitions (~94 minutes).
