GENERAL NOTES ABOUT THE CUT:

According to the BBFC: "This film was originally shown to the BBFC in an "unfinished" version. The BBFC recommended that a sequence featuring a man sucking excrement from the anus of a live rabbit would need to be removed before the film could be classified '18'. This cut was requested on the grounds of an infringement of the Cinematograph Films (Animals) Act 1937. When the finished version was submitted, this sequence had been deleted and the film was passed '18' without further cuts."
The bottom line is that the version submitted to the BBFC was "unfinished" and it's hard to tell (and confirm) whether the rabbit scene was ever going to remain part of the final edit.

It has been confirmed by Rewind user Michael_Massey that the missing 'rabbit scene' can be found on the R4 edition under the DVD Extra "Tokyo Shock Boys Uncut" at 3:12, but has been removed on the R2 UK, hence the shorter "Tokyo Shock Boys Uncut" running time. R1 status is currently unconfirmed.
