Extras are in 1080i with optional Italian subtitles.
Extended scenes from the TV version are upscaled from an SD master. The extended scenes were not dubbed in Italian, and during these scenes with the Italian dub it will revert to the English audio track with optional Italian subtitles for the missing portions.
Also available in a Steelbook.
Although coded region B, if played back on A and C players, after the "wrong region" screen appears, pressing the menu button can bypass the region coding. (May not work on all players.) -

OVERALL: Draw
- The 2021 Collector's Edition features a 1080p transfer sourced from a 2021 4K scan from the original camera negative approved by Dean Cundey, a Dolby Atmos mix plus the lossless version of the original mono, and the best set of extras.
- The 2014 re-release of the US 35th Anniversary Edition (available in the Halloween Complete Collection box sets) has a 2013 transfer supervised by Dean Cundey and 7.1 sound, in addition to the lossless version of the Original Mono and an extra not found on the 2021 CE. Though note, the Complete Collection Deluxe Edition includes a bonus disc of extras (including the Extended Cut of the film with lossless audio).
- The 2007 UK and US releases also have 1080p transfers and differing extras. Do note, the transfer(s) are based on the debatable DiviMax transfer from the 25th AE DVD.
- The French Edition Collector 40eme Anniversaire Mediabook contains a set of exclusive extras but they're not English-friendly.
- The Australian 30th AE includes a few exclusive extras but loses a TV Spot and the transfer is 1080i. It should also be notes that the specs for this Australian release are yet to be confirmed.
- The Italian release has an exclusive Q&A.
