Notes:DVD Title: Braindead (front); Dead Alive (back)
Even though the Braindead trailer is selectable from two different locations, they are two different video tracks, not the same one.
The German DTS track has no sound during the Queen sequence at the start of the film.
Also available:
- as a single-disc release called "Peter Jackson's Braindead", which is identical to this release.
- the Peter Jackson Collection with the special edition release of "Bad Taste" and "Meet The Feebles" plus an 11-page booklet all in tri-fold packaging. Note also that this is the second "Peter Jackson Collection" and should not be confused (even though that's difficult!) with the "Laser Paradise / Astro: Blood Edition (Red Edition / 2nd Edition)" version which was also released in a "Peter Jackson Collection"! -

Notes:Approximately 0:28 open up to 1.33:1 but most of the film is non-anamorphic 1.66:1 letterboxed. Most likely an open matte presentation with the odd shot in soft matte 1.37:1 and balance hard matted at 1.66:1.
IMDB and the print used claim Dolby Stereo but sadly the transfer is 2.0 Mono. -
