OVERALL: Draw
The Norwegian-release has some great extras, but it is not English friendly.
If you require an English friendly release then go for the R1.
Apparently there´s a R1 Canadian -release (non-Anamorphic, burned-in English subtitles, no extras) available, but at the moment we can´t confirm the specs etc. -
