OVERALL: Draw

The Criterion and Paramount releases essentially contain the same audio-visual bonus features (although unlike the Criterion release, the Paramount disc doesn't seem to include the film's original trailers), but they are packaged with different booklets--the Paramount release comes with a reproduction of the script and postcard-sized reproductions of the lobby cards, whilst the booklet accompanying the Criterion disc contains essays, interviews and diary notes.

Please also note that whereas the Criterion release is a 2-disc set, the Paramount release squeezes the film and all the extras onto a single DVD.

CUTS:

• R1 America- Criterion Collection - No cuts (111:32 NTSC).
• R2 United Kingdom- Paramount Home Entertainment - No cuts (106:56 PAL).
