OVERALL: Draw
Between the Criterion release, for added contextual material (including a commentary track) and the newly-restored transfer, and the French release, which contains some exclusive extras.
Versions:
For its original American cinema release, the film was edited down from 125 minutes to a little over 90 minutes in length, and three new scenes were filmed, one of which (a new prologue) featured the American actress Kim Hunter as Bob's new wife. Two of these scenes are included as 'extras' in the Criterion release.
