Notes:Eurocine's previous SD transfer had video-generated credits that cited the film as "Le lac des morts vivants" (which appeared on posters) but the original French title sequence here has the title "Les Lac des Zombies".
The English title sequence appears over the opening scene (as it did on the US VHS release) while the sequence appeared on black on the Image DVD. -

Alternate "Spanish version" (minor differences) apparently also available (DVD from "Divisa"). Let us know if you own the disc.
General notes: The film was originally directed by the Spanish director Julian de Laserna, before Jean Rollin took over. Name of the credits is listed as "J.A. Laser", though. Despite the popular rumor, Jess Franco was (apparently) never involved with the film.
