OVERALL: Draw
Both the R2 French and R0 Joy Sales releases are anamorphic. However, note that the French disc isn't English-friendly (and features forced French subtitles to boot). (The French disc also seems to be a standards conversion.)
The difference in running times is presumed to be down to differences in distributor logos at the front-end of the film. -
