The Scandinavian 3D release has 7.1 audio, both 3D and 2D versions and many extras.

For collections, the US/Canadian "The Whole Story" boxset have 7.1 audio, some minor additional featurettes (e.g. "Secrets of...") and music videos (e.g. "Shrek the Musical") with only the 2D version of the film.

The 2008 releases has a few differing exclusive extras but only has 5.1 audio and only has the 2D version of the film. Only minor language differences.
