The film exists in two different versions:
(1.) The Theatrical cut that was prepared by the film's producers (102 min).
(2.) The Director's cut that was prepared by Tavernier after the theatrical version had already been completed (117 min).
The US, UK and Scandinavian disc contain the theatrical cut; the Dutch, German and French disc contain the director's cut. The French relase contains the widest selection of bonus features.
