The R1 US Criterion release includes a 4K restoration, "The Missing Pieces" deleted scenes, and multiple exclusive interviews.

The R2 Spanish Limited Edition and R3 South Korean releases include the documentary Pretty as a Picture: The Art of David Lynch. The Spanish release also includes an audio commentary in Spanish, the Korean release has DTS audio, and both releases include differing featurettes.

The R2 German Arthaus release includes an audio commentary in German.

The R2 French Prestige Edition is listed as having several extras, but it also appears this release may actually have been cancelled prior to production.

Several other releases include either an EPK featurette or a retrospective featurette and DTS audio.

General Notes:
- The scenes involving the "Man From Another Place" are supposed to be subtitled, as in the series.
- The scenes in the "Pink Room" should have the dialogue very low in the mix drowned out by the music, with subtitles appearing. Some releases incorrectly raised the volume of the dialogue to normal levels.
