Theatrical version: The French release has lossless audio and an additional documentary, but note it has forced French subtitles and isn't English-friendly. The Australian edition has DTS-HD Master Audio and a smaller selection of bonus materials, and it is English-friendly. Of the other releases, the UK, US and Canadian releases feature interviews but only Dolby Digital audio while the Scandinavian release has lossless audio but only trailers. The German edition features interviews and has lossless audio but interlaced transfer and forced German subtitles.
Extended version: The Scandinavian, US & UK Complete Millennium Editions contain all three movies and a bonus disc with (slightly different) extra features – the former is only Scandinavian-friendly. (The Dutch version has similar extras but the transfer is interlaced.) However, the Dutch distributor (Lumière) as co-producer had ‘lab access’ to the master. And they note that the HDCAM SR masters of the extended version were 1080i.
