By getting both R1 releases, you will get all the season episodes and extra material, while the UK edition is missing one episode, has no extras and is a NTSC(non-progressive source)/PAL conversion.

CUTS:

• R0 United Kingdom- Go Entertain - No cuts.
  However, do note that:
  - The title song has been changed compared to the original broadcast.
  - The "Off The Ice" and "Off The Ice 2" episodes are inverted compared to the US edition.
• R1 America- A&E Home Video - No cuts.
  However, do note that:
  - The title song has been changed compared to the original broadcast.
  - Episodes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 9 have a "Next time on Ice Road Truckers" spot at the end of the episode, which explains the longer running times compared to the UK edition.
  - Episode 10 has a "Coming up next..." spot in the middle, which should have been cut but has been forgotten, which explains the longer running time compared to the UK edition.
• R1 On and Off the Ice America- A&E Home Video - No cuts.
  However, do note that:
  - The title song has been changed compared to the original broadcast.
  - Both "Off The Ice" and "Off The Ice 2" episodes have been cut closer at the commercial breaks, which explains why they are shorter compared to the UK edition.
