OVERALL: Draw
The R4 edition has a DTS soundtrack and almost the same extras as the R1 and R2. It does, apparently, lack the Historical Information Track (R1/R2), and the Interactive Branching to featurettes etc (R1).
If these features are more important to you than DTS, the R1 is the version of choice due to the Interactive Branching.
If you want DTS audio, but don't care about other features, you could also consider the 'Bare-Bones' R3 edition. -
