GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in two cuts:
- the European version (83 minutes);
- the American version (78 minutes) which features a much shorter opening title sequence with a song by Sol Clink while the 6.5 minute European sequence is imposed over shots of the flashback of Lorna whipping Jonathan. This does not appear to be a censorship cut since the sequence is repeated later in the film.
