The Shout! Factory release for the anamorphic widescreen transfer and the inclusion of the original Japanese and English dubs, and photo gallery.


Note while the Japanese Version is still under copyright, the US American International Pictures TV Version is in the public domain. As a result, this version of the film is available in many budget DVD collections which are best to be avoided.

The film is also available in Japan individually or in the Gamera The Box 1965-1968 set from Daiei Video/Toshiba. If you have this release, please let us know via our forums.

General Notes:
The only differences between the Japanese and US versions is the credits and a 2 minute song at the end of the Japanese version which was removed for the US AIP cut.
