Rebuilt from a number of sources of varying quality because the original negative was lost/destroyed and scenes were lost also when the film was re-cut later by the producer (to add hardcore scenes from another film.) This is likely the most complete restoration of the original. -

Both releases have differing exclusive extras.
GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in a number of versions - including French versions of different lengths and an Italian version with hardcore footage shot by another director - none of which reflected Franco's intentions. The Mondo and Le chat qui fume editions utilize a French print and the Italian hardcore negative in separate approximated reconstructions of Franco's intended version (the Mondo version runs longer at the end because it uses an additional take from a different angle of the final shot). -
