The French release includes an interview with the director. Note it is not English-friendly.
The documentary short "Maquillages" on the UK release can also be found in SD on the Region B M6 Vidéo release of More.

The difference between endings is small and relates to an optical (lighting) effect in the scene, there is no difference in runtime.
Per the BFI booklet: "The restored 'optical effect' ending was produced digitally using the original 35mm Techniscope negative at Deluxe Digital, London, at Barbet Schroeder's request." -
