Both the German release from Cine Club (and the identical release from '84 Entertainment) and the French release contain the restored uncut version of the film, which incorporates the footage cut for the film's HK theatrical release and extant from all previous versions of the film. However, please note that the French release is not English-friendly and also includes forced French subtitles.

The film was originally cut for its HK theatrical release (with a 'Cat III' classification) and it's this version that was distributed across the world, until the French and German DVDs offered a fully uncut version of the film.
