The Criterion release for both versions of the film with new transfers in their OAR and the best set of extras. They also contain the Overture, the Entr'acte, and Exit Music.
Do note, the original R1 MGM release has an exclusive documentary.
Runtime
According to IMDB, the MGM DVD releases are the General Release Version of 154 minutes (161 minutes including intermission and exit music), and this is the only version currently authorised by director Stanley Kramer. The Criterion release includes this version as well as a 197-minute Extended Version which reinstates scenes from various sources back into the film (in some cases scenes where audio only exists are presented with pictures only).
