The new edition featured in the box set "Babylon 5: The Movie Collection", for the DD 5.1 soundtrack and audio commentary. The UK and Swedish releases have the original version.
This exists in two different edits, both of which run more or less the same length:
(1.) The original 1993 version which had music by Stuart Copeland is differently edited at times to the 1998 version and has the original Ron Thornton supervised SPFX (94 minutes NTSC = 90 minutes PAL).
(2.) The 1998 special edition made for TNT which has a Christophe Franke score, updated SPFX more in line with the TV series proper. JMS revised the whole film adding back in cut characterisation and deleting some material (95 minutes NTSC = 91 minutes PAL). -
