GENERAL NOTE:
The BBFC originally cut the film in 1932 but they have no details on what was cut. There is an essay by Lea Jacobs printed in "Cinema Journal: Spring 88" entitled "The Censorship of Blonde Venus: Textual Analysis and Historical Method" that may reveal what was removed in 1932. If you can shed any light on this matter, please let us know. -
