IVL/Fortune Star for the digitally remastered anamorphic picture, DTS sound and uncut status.

Be careful when purchasing the international versions of this DVD - they are released as Operation Condor, as it was released in the US by Dimension Films before the prequel Armour Of God (which was retitled Operation Condor 2: The Armour of the Gods).

GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in a number of versions:
- the original Hong Kong Category I all ages cut (107 minutes) with shots that crop or remove the nude body double shots of Ada in the shower but not the quicker flash when Elsa yanks her towel away later;
- the Japanese extended cut (114 minutes) which may represent a rough cut – the Japanese version came out a month after the Hong Kong version - since many of the added bits are brief extensions and additional shots but also censors the instances of female nudity;
- the English export version (107 minutes) which is uncut and includes the scenes of female nudity;
- the redubbed American release version (90 minutes) featuring Chan’s voice which trims a lot of exposition including the introductory scenes with Momoko and Elsa, as well as replacing the original Chris Babida score with a new one by Stephen Endelman. Although rated PG-13 it does retain Ada's nude scene;
- and the extended cut (117 minutes) on the 88 Films Blu-ray which is identical to the Japanese version for the first half of the film - although it does feature the nude shots of Ada's body double in the shower - but features several more short extensions during the second half as well as some longer bits including a few discovered rooms in the underground base.

The original version was mixed in mono. The Cantonese stereo surround mix on the 88 Films Blu-ray is a track that was created for Hong Kong laserdisc and VHS releases. The English surround mix for the Dimension Films cut is a different mix entirely.

• R0 Digitally Remastered Edition Hong Kong- IVL - No cuts (106:25 NTSC).
• R0 Re-release Hong Kong- Mega Star - (Hong Kong - re-release) - Yes - When Jackie rips the towel off of the German girl and a brief shot of Carol Cheng's butt in the shower (thanks to Rewind user Phil for these details).
• R0 Japan - (Pioneer) - Yes - When Jackie rips the towel off of the German girl and a brief shot of Carol Cheng's butt in the shower (thanks to Phil for these details).
• R1 America - (Dimension) - No cuts as such: However this is the International version, with additional edits made for a faster pace.
• R1 The Jackie Chan Collection - 8 Film Set America- Echo Bridge Home Entertainment - Yes, Dimension Films edit with different English dubbing and scoring (90:18 NTSC)
• R2 United Kingdom - (Entertainment In Video) - Yes - Rewind user Toge has pointed out, that this is the uncut-version ("Jackie Chan's cut"). Not the same "international version" like the R1 though.
• R3 Hong Kong- Fortune Star/Deltamac - (Hong Kong - Fortune Star/Deltamac) - No cuts.
• R3 Korea- Spectrum / Fortune Star - No Cuts
