Between the Special Edition releases. It should be noted though the original R1 Paramount presents the film in its original OAR of 1.66:1.
General Notes:
According to IMDB, director Peter Weir filmed the movie in 1.66:1 to make it feel more like a TV show. Only the original R1 Paramount release presents the film in it's OAR while others are presented in their (slightly matted) theatrical ratio of 1.78:1.
