The UK and Australian releases have an anamorphic transfer of the theatrical version.
The US has two cuts including the director's cut (although it has burnt-in Swedish and Finnish subtitles and is not of high quality) and the transfers are non-anamorphic.
The theatrical cut was disowned by the director.
This film exists in four existing versions. Pre-release, Joseph Losey screened a 155 minute cut at Cannes which he whittled down to 135 minutes for a cast and crew screening before refining it further for the two release versions under the titles "Eva" and "The Devil's Woman":
(1.) Eve: The Eye restoration (126 minutes NTSC = 121 minutes PAL).
(2.) Eve: The Eye restoration with extended ending (127 minutes NTSC = 122 minutes PAL).
(3.) Eva (109 minutes NTSC = 105 minutes PAL).
(4.) The Devil's Woman (108 minutes NTSC = 104 minutes PAL). -
