There are subtitles in English, French and Spanish on all of the extra features excluding the trailers.
Each disc are held in their own clear little slim cases. The box that houses all the discs is embossed, with the contours of Jason’s mask jutting out of the box.
All the original Friday the 13th DVDs were all single layer discs, so what Paramount has done for the box set is group two of those single layer transfers on each dual layered, single sided disc. Reviews indicate slightly better picture quality on part one and four.
The inside of the bonus disc's cover promises a featurette that isn't present: "Scary Trailers: Visual effects producer Dan Corey, veteran voice-over talent Don LaFontaine and others discuss the making of the Friday the 13th movie trailers."
Also, "Best Buy US" has an exclusive special 29-minute bonus disc, "Jason Forever", which contains a lively "Jason" panel discussion from a Fangoria convention. It also delivers interviews with cast and crew, including 4 actors who have played Jason over the years. -
