At 32:57, the scene of a soldier being shot to the head during the first raid on the opium depot is missing:
- After the stolen chopper lands on General Khan’s opium depot, a soldier approaches it and is shot to the head. The scene of blood spurting from the back of the head is changed to the scene of the soldier’s head bouncing backward due to the shot in slow motion.
At 33:12, the scene of a soldier being shot by Captain Wesley in a building during the raid is missing:
- After Captain Wesley and his men shoot their way out of the chopper, he storms into a building and shoots a soldier who is alarmed by the attack. The scene only shows him firing his machine gun at random and cuts to the scene when he runs out of the depot.
At 34:25, the scene of a wounded soldier being shot to death during the destruction of the first opium lab is missing:
- A wounded soldier lying on the floor and aiming to shoot is gunned down by a rebel who is watching over Stone, one of Captain Wesley’s mercenaries, destroy an opium lab.
At 34:34, several scenes during the raid on the first opium depot are missing:
- When trying to defend himself from enemy attack, Klein – one of Captain Wesley’s mercenaries – receives a heavy armed response from two soldiers hiding behind stacked sacks. Seeing the predicament, China, the pilot, runs out of the chopper and comes to his rescue, killing the two soldiers.
- After destroying the opium lab, Stone gets shot.
At 40:12, the scene of one of General Khan’s soldier being shot from behind at the General’s jungle command base is missing:
- Kowalski, one of Captain Wesley’s mercenaries who is left behind with two rebels to monitor the radio communication is holding one of General Khan’s soldier captive. Having been informed by Wesley that the first opium depot has been successfully neutralized, Kowalski sets the soldier free. As he is scurrying off the hut, he is shot at the back by one of the rebels accompanying Kowalski, who does not intend to leave any witness behind.
At 54:28, the scenes of the massacre of the drug addicts who are being rehabilitated at the mission are missing:
- General Khan’s soldiers, having located Captain Wesley and his men’s hideout at the mission, launch a retaliation strike at the camp and massacre all the patients. The only scene intact is the bombing of the huge wooden doors of the mission. It then changes to that of Wesley and his men hiding behind trees waiting to sabotage an opium-carrying train that is heading to the second opium plant.
At 56:45, the scene of Arbib, one of Captain Wesley’s men, shooting at close range two soldiers controlling the locomotive during the train raid is missing:
- After Arbib gets onto the running train, the scene immediately cuts to Arbib being inside the locomotive and getting shot at his back from a soldier shooting from the roof of the second carriage.
At 59:31, the scenes of the Priest being found crucified and then taken down from the cross are missing:
- When Captain Wesley and his men return to the mission, they find all of the patients dead. Wesley then searches for other survivors. Then the scene abruptly cuts to China talking to the dying Priest who is lying on his back against a wall with his forehead bleeding profusely.
Alternate dialogue at 65:55 between China and Captain Wesley:
- In the cut version – After Kim, the rebel leader, speaks in his native language to Captain Wesley, China just listens to the Captain explaining to him what Kim has just said.
- In the uncut version – After Kim, the rebel leader, speaks in his native language to Captain Wesley, China asks Wesley “What’s he saying?” The Captain then translates to him what Kim has just said.
At 77:26, the scene of Charlton’s charred corpse is missing:
- From the chopper, Captain Wesley repeatedly fires flames of napalm (from a flamethrower attached to one of the skids) at Charlton and his men. Charlton who is panicking gets trapped in the fire and is burnt to death. The scene of Charlton’s charred corpse lying on the ground is changed to the scene of the burning opium silos (83:54 PAL). - R2 Cinema Treasures Germany- Ascot Elite Home Entertainment - No cuts (97:10 PAL).
