Note, that it also includes a few new featurettes ("Scarface Scorecard", "Scarface: The Video Game", and "The World of Tony Montana") – while dropping the "Def Jam presents The Origins of a Gangsta" featurette. It also has DTS.

Note the "Making of Scarface" 55-minute documentary was divided into the "Creating", "The Rebirth", and "Acting" featurettes on some releases. Also note the Spanish Platinum Edition has the option to watch either the original documentary or the three separate featurettes.

GENERAL NOTES:
Prior to the theatrical release of this film the MPAA gave "Scarface" an "X" rating and was re-cut three times. This rating was disputed and they eventually received an "R" rating. The version shown on all these DVD releases IS Brian DePalma's original cut (which got "X" at first).
