OVERALL: Draw
The 40th Anniversary Editions for the lossless original Mono and a new Q&A.
Note that while the "Holy Book of Days" Second Screen feature is not included on the 40th AE discs (where as the other releases do), it is available for purchase on the App Store. Also note the 40th anniversary editions include the original trailer while the previous editions have the re-release trailer.
Note the narration on the new 5.1 track was re-recorded (on all BD releases) by Michael Palin in 2010 because the original master tape was lost. The mono track has the original narration. Also note on the Special Edition DVD, before the start of the film the opening credits of "Dentist on the Job" (1961) play before the projectionist realizes it is the wrong movie. This has not been carried over to the Blu-ray. -
