The Vinegar Syndrome and Shout Factory discs have two cuts of the film in 1080p - the former has the international and TV cuts while the latter has the international and R-rated versions - lossless audio and the same audio commentary.
The Umbrella Double Feature - Reissue has four cuts of the film with exclusive extras and lossless audio.
The French release has the international cut with exclusive extras.
VERSION NOTES:
Greek VHS Cut (94:33):
(This info is from the Rewind user Asmund_Utvik)
This is the "International Cut" but contains the following additional dialog-scenes, which are missing from the DVD-releases. These are presumably from a pre-release version.
Scene 1:
After the conversation about the vigilante in New York, there are additional 31 seconds of dialog, where the police chief is telling a story about his former partner, who is now dead.
Scene 2:
After the conversation about Paul Kersey, there are additional 14 seconds of dialog: “I don't think I heard that question, and I don`t think you ask the questions Mr. District Attorney.”
Scene 3:
Additional dinner scene with Jill Ireland and Charles Bronson (1:06 min).
International Cut (91:55):
Differences between the "R-Rated and International Cuts" can be found at Movie-Censorship.
Both of the rape scenes are cut. While only the more violent aspects of the maid's rape scene were cut, the daughter's rape scene was almost entirely removed (except for the last few seconds). Also, the daughter afterwards is shown jumping out the window, but the R-Rated cut removes the part, where she gets impaled on a fence.
The Television Cut (93:57):
This a completely sanitised version made for network TV; all explicit sex, violence and profanity has been removed and a small amount of deleted scenes have been added to compensate. -
