OVERALL: R2
R2 for the audio commentary (it also has the documentary and is the longer version.)
Note, the R1 re-release has a DD5.1 up-mix of the original 2.0 stereo (but R2 is LPCM), but nothing else, it is also the shorter version.
There appears to be two versions of the film, a shorter "theatrical(?)" one and a longer "extended(?)" one, differing by about 9 mins. (IMDB just give a runtime of 90 mins.) The differences are: about 2 mins in the Robert Altman directed segment and 90 secs in the Bill Bryden one. In addition, there is a difference of about 6 mins in total in the linking scenes with John Hurt (mostly to do with Sophie Ward). -
