The Vinegar Syndrome releases has more extras but the Scorpion has a different commentary track.
This film has also been released in:
- America by Elite Entertainment (part of the Aussie Horror Collection 2)
- America by Platinum Disc Corp
- Australia by Umbrella Entertainment
If you own any of these releases, please let us know via our forums.
GENERAL NOTES:
The film's post-production was rushed to have it ready for screening and sale at MIFED, so the initial version ran ~105 minutes. The film was trimmed to ~93 minutes for its Australian theatrical release and the negative was conformed to this cut which was also exported. While videotape releases were the shorter version, the longer version is what turned up on DVD from an aged PAL tape master. It is a misnomer to describe it as either the Australian version, the international version, or the director's cut so much as a pre-release version (such designations will be designated in quotations in the database).
Information on differences between the two versions of the film can be found at Movie-Censorship. -
