The film was originally released in Hong Kong with a running time of c.106 minutes. A dubbed export version was prepared with a running time of c.90 minutes. This was the version seen in British and American cinemas, although these specific territory versions were rescored by New Line with a new soundtrack by J. Peter Robinson.
