*Theatrical version:
The US CE release has the best 1080p presentation plus extras.

*Director's Cut:
The German release contains the director's cut and some interesting (and differing) extras (including a commentary from Pyun, on the DVD). Do note, however, that the German disc contains a composite of the theatrical cut and a VHS workprint.

Alternate German release "Classic Cult Collection" also available. Let us know if you can confirm the specs.

The director's cut has also been released in the US by Curnan Pictures. If you have the full specs of this release, please let us know via our forums.

Versions:
The film was taken away from Pyun during postproduction. However, Pyun retained a VHS copy of his workprint/rough cut. For a time, he sold DVD-R copies of this workprint on his personal website. The various 'director's cut' releases that have subsequently appeared (under Pyun's preferred title for the film, Slinger), are all based on the structure of this workprint.

• Blu-ray A Collector's Edition America- Shout! Factory - No cuts. Theatrical Cut.
• Blu-ray ALL America- Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment - No cuts. Theatrical Cut (86:24).
• Blu-ray ALL Platinum Cult Edition Germany- DigiDreams Studio - No cuts. Two versions:
  - Director's cut (82:33). This is a composite of various sources (the theatrical version, a VHS workprint).
  - VHS workprint (82:31).
• Blu-ray B Australia- Umbrella Entertainment - No cuts. Theatrical Cut (82:51, "50Hz speed-up").
