OVERALL: Draw
Between the R2/4 releases which include a 5.1 soundtrack, which is not found on any of the R1 releases. They also feature almost all the extras as the R1 US release from Universal. The only extras it omitted are the bios and production notes, so unless these are important to you, R2 & R4 are clear winners.
Versions:
Earlier home video releases suffered 2 examples of music replacement (presumably due to rights issues)
1) During the dinner scene between Irena, Paul, & Female (9:12-9:55): the song "Far Away Places" by Bing Crosby playing in the background was substituted for "Sunday Kind of Love" by Ella Fitzgerald
2) During the scene in which Ed Begley Jr sings "What's New, Pussycat?" (42:58-43:15): an alternate take was used where he sings "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."
The R1 Universal and R2/R4 releases contain the original songs; the R1 Image Entertainment release contains the "home video" songs -
