The US release has a longer runtime (with specific cuts unconfirmed for the German release).

Some references cite a 113 minute running time for the US version, the AFI Film Catalog lists a 100 minute timing, while the BBFC lists a submitted timing of 108 minutes.

Since this was a German co-production, the German version may have a different timing (and may possibly be differently edited). Since a number of directors worked on the troubled production, the longer timing may be a preview length (the credits list both an editor and an "editorial consultant").

The credits also cite the availability of a stereo version.
