The 2-disc "50th Anniversary Edition" is a no brainer for the fans, but the older releases have a couple of extras ("The Harryhausen Chronicles"-documentary & "This Is Dynamation" -featurette, along with the Trailer). Note, that these 2 extras are also included in some other (older) Harryhausen-releases ("Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers", "It Came from Beneath the Sea", "Mysterious Island", and "First Men in the Moon").

Also some of the extras from the new "50th AE" set are included in the 2-disc set of "It Came from Beneath the Sea" and 2-disc set of "Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers".
